Varicose Veins and Birth Control

Hello all. I have a problem. I suffer from varicose veins and endometriosis. I will be having surgery in order to treat the endometriosis, after which my Ob/Gyn wants me to start taking birth control pills to control the growth of endometrial tissue. However, it is my understanding that most birth control will cause varicose veins in people who have a predisposition to the condition and exacerbate varicose veins in people that already have them. Thus, I wanted to know if anyone remembers what the type of oral contraceptive that doesn't increase varicose veins is. I used to know, but I forgot, because I am don't believe in taking prescription drugs unless medically necessary. Now it may be medically necessary so I need to know this. I can't remember! Thanks so much.
