Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo - Women's Health Message Board

Is anyone familiar with Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo? I currently take Ortho Tri Cyclen and have been for about 2 years with no problems. However, I get my BC through my University health center for a low price and I just found out that they have raised the Ortho price while the Ortho Lo price has stayed inexpensive. So, I am considering changing if the two are comparable.
I would appreciate any personal experiences with Ortho Lo.

i was taking ortho tricyclen for about three months, then almost two months ago i switched to a low dose pill similar to ortho tricyclen low. at first i hated it because i ended up having some bleeding...almost like a period...about a week after my normal period already ended...and some spotting...but after a couple weeks my body got adjusted and i haven't had that problem. one thing i do notice is that my skin isn't as clear as it was on the regular ortho tricylcen...but then again i had moderate acne to begin with so this most likely wouldn't be a problem for most people. overall i'm happier on the lower dose pill because of the lower risk of side effects. the regular pill was giving me higher blood pressure. and i'm only 21 and don't smoke lol
