Breast size

Hi!
Just wondering about what age the breasts quit growing. I'm 18 years old, 153 lbs, and wear a size A bra... Are they done?? Also is it normal for them to be that small at 18 since I'm not exremely skinny? MAYBE they're not done........

Re: Breast size

I don't think Breast size ever really stops growing since most of the Makeup of breasts is fat (that's so horrible) and can flucuate. The "major" growing I believe stops sometime in your early 20's. Mine haven't grown in awhile and I'm 22, I also got my breasts early and they grew quickly.

Re: Breast size

Has anyone had their breasts grow past the age of 18? (Without pregnancy). Any comments would be appreciated !

Yes, mine did after I went on birth control pills (I went on about 2 years ago--I'm now 21). I don't know if that was the reason they grew or not, because I gained about 15lbs or so (I don't know if that was from the bcp's or not because I was also on an anti depressant at the time, and they're known for causing weight gain). I went from about a B34, and now I'm wearing a C38 or D36 (I don't know why both fit... Just the make, I guess?). I love my breasts--I loved them before I gained any weight though--however, I fear that if I lose the extra weight I want off my mid-section, I'll lose my breasts too....

Re: Breast size

I am not even a AA. If I do the measurements as instructed the difference is -1" and I am not kidding. According to the sizing chart I cannot get an A bra that is big enough around, they only make C's for my circumference! I did get to a full B when I was pregnant with my children but went straight back to my previous size.

I hate seeing body makeover shows with women who are a full size B complaining that they need bigger breasts because they feel masculine and want to feel more like a woman. Try not being able to find a bra that fits because all size A's are too big in the cup and too small in the circumference and AA's are almost impossible to find and even if I did find one I would need to buy a bra extension. You may think that I should not need a bra, and I don't most of the time, but even the tank tops with the built in bras (need the built in bra, I am self conscious when I am cold if you know what I mean )are not made for me. If you have breasts and lean over in them, I am assuming that your breasts fill the bra and keep the shirt tight against you. I, on the other hand, cannot find one that fits properly. It either fits through the breast but is much too tight in the rib cage and stomach or it fits in the stomach and hangs open in the front when I lean over for all to see (not that there is much to see!LOL).

Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about my breast size so much as my proportioning. I actually don't think I would be able to handle having large, bouncy breasts, but it would be nice to be able to fit into a bra with cups (even if they are only little cups ), or a large OR medium shirt because I have yet to find one that is medium in the breast and large in the rib and stomach area.

Sorry for straying away from the question but I needed to vent. I had heard at some point in my teen years that your breasts can continue to grow until you are in your early twenties so you can hold onto that hope if you like. I on the other hand have passed that age and my only hope is that they will sag enough to stuff a bra with, but with my luck they will just end up looking like plums in a sock. HA HA HA!
