Someone who LOVES Yasmin!

Hello!

I've read a lot of negative posts on here about Yasmin and was incredibly afraid to try it. I switched from Apri (generic Mircette) in March and had plenty of doubts about it's success in the first few weeks.

However, I'm just about to have my third period on it and I have to say....I LOVE IT!!! I have had no break-through bleeding, no depression (though I'm a teacher and these last few days of school are bliss!), and my skin is seriously the best it has ever been in my LIFE. I had a few pimples on my chin the other day and decided to try some over-the-counter pads (Stridex) since I don't have a dermatologist around this area yet, and it cleared things up right away. I talked to my sister yesterday and she is equally pleased with the results it is bringing her.

Keep in mind I never have menstruated regularly and have been on PLENTY of BC pills, so perhaps that has helped my condition a bit. I don't think the side effects have been any worse then the others. I have irritable bowel syndrome and noticed my stomach was a bit queasy the first few weeks, but my fiber supplement seems to have taken care of that just fine.

Anyway, I'm sure it's not right for everyone and perhaps, over time, I will be less pleased. However, I wanted to share a positive experience for those in a similar situation to me that may be very happy with Yasmin!

Re: Someone who LOVES Yasmin!

im due for my first period on yasmin fairly soon, damn, im going to the doc's cuz i dont know if theres something wrong with me or its yasmin. ive never felt so ill as i have in the passed month. first it started with feeling blue, getting chest pains. now im totally nauseas as we speak, its 5am and i havent been able to sleep for the passed 2 days bcuz this sick feeling is keeping me awake. plus it looks like my tummy is swollen and it hurts to touch around the whole area. im glad yasmin worked for you , guess its back to diane 35 and those horrible headaches for me

Re: Someone who LOVES Yasmin!

I love Yasmin so far, my only complaint so far is that my periods are longer but that's tolerable because after the first two days it's very light. So yeah, after my first month, so far so good!
