| Re: How to ease PMS please?
Personally I’d be going to a new doctors, if you are having those sorts of problems then you shouldn’t just be sent home with painkillers, they should be finding out why you are having those problems.
Are you on hormonal birth control? Or any other sort of medication like perhaps ant-depressants?
If so I’d be looking to change that for a start.
A few period pain/bloating ideas;
Avoid salty foods.
Avoid alcohol.
Avoid dairy.
Avoid caffeine.
Avoid anything that will increase your gas like carbonated drinks.
Drink lots of water, try adding lemon juice, a natural diuretic.
Healthy diet, increase fresh, raw vegetables.
Consume twice as much magnesium as calcium. Calcium contracts muscles, magnesium relaxes them.
Try herbal teas, such as the following; lemon balm, black haw, blessed thistle, camomile, blue cohosh, dong quai, wild marjoram, red raspberry, wild strawberry, valerian, yarrow and raspberry leaf.
Relaxation such as with use of aromatherapy, breathing exercises or a nice hot bath.
Avoid using tampons, if internal menstrual product users consider switching to menstrual cups.
Some of those are pretty obvious, but you never know there may be seomthing useful amongst that lot for you. General good health and vaginal health does make on hell of a differance, perhaps next doctors visit you should discuss that with him/her, or look online for information as to why you are having these problems and what to do about them.
