You know I just had mine placed too, and I don't know either. lol
I haven't tried to check them yet because of spotting, but I'm guessing that they can't be THAT far up since she told me that if they bothered me, let her know and she would clip them.
All I know is that your cervix is a little farther up that you may be reaching (consider when you were being checked at your prenatal visits, and during labor) and it should be towards the back rather than straight up. Also remember that things changed down there, so it may not be shaped the same.
