I don't know what you are going for, but they may want to test for things at your first appointment. You could call and ask whether you should discontinue Yasmin. Many hormonal tests have separate reference ranges for women on the pill, but sometimes they still want you off it to figure out what is really going on. It depends on the doctor. I've been seeing my endocrinologist for almost a year now. When I first saw him I wasn't on the pill, have since gone on it, and my endocrinologist told me at my last appointment that I may need to discontinue it sometime in the future to see if it is causing some hormone problems.
You shouldn't have to worry too much about the appointment. My doctor did a quick physical exam at my first appointment. Pressed on my belly, had me drink some water while he checked my thyroid, etc. He spent the majority of time looking over my blood tests.
