Ovulation Pain.......????? - Women's Health Message Board

Do any of you ladies have strange ovulation symptoms? I am 39 years of age and my menses is different these months. Is it normal to have ovulation pain for several days? I THOUGHT NORMAL OVULATION PAIN ONLY LASTS FOR 1 DAY OR A COUPLE OF HOURS???

My symptoms:

Leg pains ( I always have leg pains before my period starts)
Pinching pain in my right lower side (ovary)?
Very tired and weak
Very bloated
Indigestion and gassy
Very hot and sweaty
Back pain and
Joints tight and creaky

Can you tell me your symptoms? I started my lst menses 10-2-04. I am not due till around the 25???!!!

Some of my symptoms have been migraines, pinching on my sides, and nausea. As far as the leg pain evidently there is some change in the artery at ovulation. If you position your hand just right you can feel your pulse on the ovulation side or something like that. I've never been able to find the spot. But maybe that could cause it?

Have you ever had those symptoms checked out? I had the side pain and back pain and had that checked out. The internal exam and the ultra sound exams were painful, but I found out I had a cyst on my left ovary. It is a very normal cyst and functional--as I was told. These kind of cysts, my doctor said, take care of themselves.

I would get those symptoms checked out. The pain you are going thru is tough (mine was minor pain) and I wish you better days ahead! Let us know what you come up with.

p.s. I have had sore sides during the ovulation part of my cycle. I have mostly felt it on the left side though.
