 Abnormal Period.....Anyone else had this?
Hi, I am 24 years old, in fairly good health. I have been on birth control for about 6 months (regularly) now. My periods have always been normal up to 3 months ago. They now last for a few hours. I don't need to wear a tampon or any protection or anything. It is pitch black and stringy. Normal was....little cramping, period comes every 30-35 days, stays for 4-6 days, very red blood, some discharge, changed tampon every 2 hours or so. Now I feel like I really have no period. I just had it last Wednesday and it lasted from the time I got up till about 3pm. I talked to a few friends and they agree that it is not normal. I called my dr. and she said it is not normal and is having me come in next week. Does anyone else know what this could be? Has anyone else had this?
