Can yeast infections cause nausea?

Hello. I have treated a yeast infection twice in the past 3 weeks or so.. and it is still here.

Can nausea be caused from having a yeast infection for this long?
Also, does lacking sleep make you more susceptible to yeast infections?

Prior to this infection I was only sleeping about 6-7 hours per day. Now I am sure I could sleep all day if I allowed myself. Usually now I sleep 10-13 hours.

I have either Tonsilitis or glandular fever (not sure and not necessary to know) so I was prescribed antibiotics in case it is tonsilitis.

I was prescribed Nizoral today for the yeast infection for 10 days and it says that a common side-effect is nausea and vomiting. I already feel this way and I don't know why.

Thanks.

Re: Can yeast infections cause nausea?

hi,
I know for certain that I had terrible nausea with my yeast infection. I don't know about the other things.
