Help
I went to my doc because i thought i had a yeast infection. she told me it was and told me to take monistat 7. I really didnt think it was a yeast infection but took it anyway. I started to get back pains and the discharge smelled like really strong medicine?? Well i had a follow-up and learned the day of, that the office was closed because it had caught on fire!! (wow) does anyone know if i should be worried. the yeast symptoms didnt seem to go away.

Please help!!

You may need an antibotic to get rid of the infection...sometimes monistat isn't strong enough. It could also be Bacterial Vaginitis. I would see another doctor as soon as possible to find out what the infection is...its not good to let things go or wait a long time because it could lead to more serious problems in the long run. Good luck with everything and feel better ( i know how nasty and uncomfortable infections can be down there).
