i was wondering if anyone knows a way to stop yourself from smelling (down there), or whats causing it??? its weird, the smell got bad after i had become sexually active, and its even worst when im on my period. its never been this bad before. i dont understand it. usually feminine deodorants would do the job, but not anymore. its really embarrassing having this problem. is there anything methods i can try???
I had the same problem when I became sexually active. My boyfriend's sperm was the real culprit. Some men just have smelly semen. The smell usually goes away after about two days after sex. In the meantime I just use feminine deodorants and that seems to do the trick.
I go for my regular gyno exams and there are no problems so all is good.
You may want to see a doctor if even the deodorants aren't helping.
Or it could be BV (bacterial vaganosis). If it's an ongoing thing and it's even worse on your period, it's probably an infection. And if thats the case, definitly stop using deodarants. They are not good for your vagina anyway. I would go see a doctor though, only they can diagnois you. Good luck!
