Nipples changing color

I know this sounds odd but I believe I once read something about why jipples change color. I think it was to do with hormoan levels, or pregnancy,, Does anyone know what I am talking about?

As far as I know, the hormones from pregnancy can change the color of your nipples, but not necessarily everyone. Mine definitely got permanently darker (and bigger).

Mine have changed completly from brown to witish pink and I dont know why. Could it be cancer? (im not pregnant)
