bad stomach pain...... - Women's Health Message Board

For 2 1/2 days now i have been experiencing very bad stomach pain on/off. it comes and goes and it is in the area of my stomach where you have heartburn, below the sternum, but this is like no heartburn ever before. It's feels like menstrual cramps in that area, and it makes me dizzy, light headed and nauseous. It will last for awhile, then go away, and it sometimes comes with a lot of burping and stomach acid. Is this typical indigestion or gallbladder, or something else??

Is it above the waist then? Sounds to me like bad indigestion or a sore stomach. Have you eaten anything bad or lots of rich food? Any chance it could be food poisoning? Try and eat and drink only plain bland food for a few days - no chocolate, sugary foods, rich food, avoid dairy products. Of course if you are worried or in a lot of pain you should go to see your GP.
