My periods have always lasted for 3 days, 4 at the most. This time, I'm on Day 10. What is going on? I've been having hormone problems for years, and think I am perimenopausal. I'm 37 and have night sweats for the past 7 years. But, of course, the doctors all act like it's "all in my head". I haven't been to the doctor yet with this, and thought I'd get more answers here. Can anyone help?
Re: What does it mean when your period doesn't stop?
I have the same problem. This is the second month of a period that is lasting too long. I am 45 and have been told I have fibroids which I think is a lot to do with the bleeding and passing of clumps (yuck) of blood.
