I was diagnosed with endometriosis 5 years ago. I was having unbearable cramping every day and worse when i had my period. My period was extremely irregular that sometimes I would have it for 2 months straight then the next month I wouldn't get it at all. I found out I had it when I went to the dr to geta blood test to c if I was pregnant cuz I didn't get my period for 3 months. She found an ovarian cyst and I had it lap to have it drained. That's when they found the endometriosis, it was everywhere! All over every organ that is near my uterus. Just recently when I had my last lap about 1 year ago my dr. discoverd I know have adenomyosis as well. Anyway for the pain they put me on countless bcp's, none of which regulated my period or took away the pain. I was off and on Lupron shots for almost 3 years and got off of them about 3 months ago. It took my pain away after a number of shots and I didn't really have any bothersome menopausal symptoms, just hot flashes. I went off cuz everyone was saying how it's probably doing more harm to my body than good because it completely shuts down ur reproductive system. Now I have had sever abdominal bloating since I went of it, I mean severe! I have gained 30 lbs. in the past 3 months and went up 4 sizes! Haven't changed my diet or routine at all...strange. I went online and read the bloating may be caused by going off of birth control or even a growth, like an ovarian cyst or uterine fibroid which are mainly only found in postmenopausal women which would describe me. I don't know what to do, it's so horribleto see myself looking like this. One day my stomach will be flat and others I look 9 months pregnant! I am 22 now and have never weighed over 130 pounds, now I'm almost at 160! I went from a size 4 and size 6 in 3 months!!! I know for sure I'm not pregnant. I need help. Does anyone else have symptoms like these? Help please!
