Does anyone have any ideas about this? I love bubble baths..but they always seem to give me a yeast infection. I was thinking of maybe trying a mild bubble bath like Johnsons baby? Any ideas? Other than avoiding them all together. lol.
when my friend got a yeast infection her doctor told her to stop taking baths. My mother's doctor told her the same thing as well. I would think as long as your tub is squeeky cleen then you should be fine. You should try making sure the tub is very clean and if that does not help then switch bubble baths and finally if that doesn't help then quit taking them all together.
A bath with no bubbles is fine; it's the bubbles/perfumes etc. that can create a yeast infection. If you just want skin cleanser/moisturizer, my gyn suggests baking soda, which I use and it works just great. Or bath milk. No oils.
