| Problems with shaving...nothing works
I'm putting this on this forum because I feel that more people who check this forum know more about shaving the legs.
I really need help, nothing I've tried works. I'm a guy and I would like to get rid of my leg hair, because I don't like how leg hair looks on me and I'd like to wear shorts outside again someday(I haven't since I was like 10 years old). But I must be cursed or something because nothing I've tried works on my shins/calves. I can shave my thighs, my stomach, my underarms and my forearms and even my pubic hair without much irritation at all, especially if I take my time and do it right, but no matter how hard I try my shins can't be shaved without something going wrong. Sometimes I cut myself even though I'm extremely gentle, sometimes if I get the hair off I start breaking out on my legs even though I clean afterwards, and even if neither of those happen, I end up with black dots all down my legs. I believe they are my pores, though I don't know. I've been trying some new pore refining soaps and lotions, but no good.
And then, after about 2-3 days the hairs start growing back. If I don't shave, it starts itching, but even if I do shave somehow I ALWAYS cut myself, or break out. This is very very frustating.
I've also tried waxing, though only home waxing because I don't know where to get it done professionally, and I've tried Veet hair removal lotion, which didn't do ANYTHING, and Nair for Men, which didn't do anything other than make me go into an itch vest so bad I almost started crying.
Again, that stuff works everywhere else. Infact Nair worked amazingly well on my arms/stomach/thighs, I'm very happy with out it turned out. However, my lower legs had no results. Does anyone know what to do? I don't want to have to shell out the money for the laser or electrolosis, I've heard bad things about them. Any help would be appreciated, thanks...
