Hi

I started my period 2 weeks ago. It was only very light and yesterday i thought it was finishing. However last night it had started again, this time very heavy. A couple of hours after it started i got stomach cramps. This morning its eased off a bit. I dont get very heavy periods normally. Maybe this amount of bleeding is normal. Anymore else ever had periods like this?

I do suffer from polycystic ovaries, anyone else suffer from this?

I have periods like this, but I think it is because I'm perimenopausal. If you aren't old enough for this to be your problem, you could ask your doctor for some Provera...I took some for a few days about five years ago, had a heavy period, and then I had regular periods for a long, long time after that. Still had cramps and heavier bleeding one day a month, but at least my period was only about 5 days.

You might want to get checked for uterine fibroids.
