I've never heard of a ductogram, but a mammogram is like an x-ray of your breasts. They place your breasts, one at a time, between these two surfaces that mechanically squeeze your breast into a flatter position, and they take pictures. They squeeze them vertically and horizontally. It's usually painless...I've had several mammos and the only time I had discomfort was once right before my period, when my breasts hurt more anyway. They won't give you results right away, you'll hear from your doctor if there is anything to worry about. I've also had two surgical biopsies after mammograms, but the spots turned out to be benign fibroids. Good luck!
