Has anyone tried the diva cup? If you have what do you think of it and would you ever go back to pads and/or tampons?

i have a divacup and i love it. i will never go back to tampons. i will only go back to reusable pads, but not disposables due to the comfort. (the reusable pads are called Lunapads and they're great too).
there are lots of reasons why I love the divacup the best:
it never ever has leaked on me, and i wear it overnight.
i can keep it in for 12 hours, which means i dont have to empty it at school in public bathrooms, unless its a long day.
i forget i have my period, because i cant feel the cup, and my mind isnt on "oh should i check to see if i need to change my pad" because the divacup wont "overflow" unless you leave it in too long (more than 12 hours), even on heavy days.
it takes a little getting used to, with the insertion and removal, simply because theres no string. you have to get comfortable with touching yourself, because the way you remove it, you have to stick your fingers in you slightly to grab hold of the cup, then squeeze it (to break the seal it makes) and then pull it out.
there is a stem, but for me it was in the way, and it poked me, so i just cut the entire stem off. cutting it actually made it EASIER to put in and remove.

long story short, its WELL worth the money, for what you will save in 10 years on pads/tampons. and theres NO association with TSS since the cup is made from medical-grade silicone (stuff catheters and artificial heart valves are made of). so its actually healthier for you.

i'll never go back to disposable pads or tampons!

Oh my god, I LOVE my Diva Cup. I cannot believe that menstrual cups aren't more common because they are light years better than tampons or pads.

I used to leak no matter what when I was wearing a tampon, especially at night, so I always had to wear a backup pad. I don't leak at all with the Diva Cup, which is so, so nice because I don't have to back it up with a pad. It's so much cheaper in the long run, you don't throw as much garbage out, you don't have to carry a mess of products in your purse. You can leave it in for many hours at once.

Putting in/taking out takes a few days of practice (I spilled all over my bathroom floor the first time I tried to remove it) but after that it's not a problem.

It's so much cleaner, so much more comfortable. It's just great, honestly. You could also try the Keeper, but I chose the Diva because it's made of silicone instead of rubber, and because I read on another board that the Keeper can be uncomfortable because of its stiff stem.
