Pinkish Brownish Discharge

Earlier this week I had some clear/whitish discharge and mild itching that has since gone away. Later it turned into pinkish/brownish discharge. I'm not due to get my period for another week and its only enough to notice when I wipe after going to the bathroom.
I'm not sure if I have some sort of infection or break through bleeding or if it could possibly be implantation bleeding (what I have seems to fit the description of this). I haven't missed a pill but I still have this nagging feeling in the back of my head that pregnancy could still be an option. I never thought anything of it at the time, but around the time I should have been ovulating I was chasing my husband around the house pretty much begging for sex (of course he agreed to it!).
The pill has worked for us so far so I have no reason to believe that it failed this time. I don't know if I should just wait a week for my period or make a Dr. appt to see if there is something going on with my body.

Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated.

Sounds to me like a little breakthrough bleeding. You shouldn't be ovulating, so it's not likely implantation (although I suppose pregnancy could still happen on the pill). If you have a mild yeast infection, you might be having more discharge than usual and any light blood might be more noticeable and come out easier.

Have you been taking any antibiotics?

Re: Pinkish Brownish Discharge

No antibiotics. I have taken Claritin for allergies and took some Sudafed when I had a cold a couple of weeks ago. Don't think those would interfere with anything tho.
The yeast infection and break through bleeding make sense. I've never had any break through bleeding before which is probably why I freaked out a little. My husband teasing me and egging me on to worry about being pregnant (however unlikely) hasn't helped I'm sure.

I got pregnant once while taking the pill. It's possible that other medications other then antibiotics could change the effectiveness of the pill. Try a pregnancy test or see your doctor. Some of those HPT don't always work and can show a false negative or a false positive. Also, starting your period doesn't always mean you aren't pregnant.
