late bloomer?

this is kinda embarrasing for me but I just turned 20 yesterday and I realized that I still don't have hair under my arms and i have almost no boobs and im wondering if thats normal like a late bloomer kind of thing or if its something to be worried about. Not that im complaining about the no hair but I hate not having boobs

Re: late bloomer?

I take it you have started menstruating? If so then it is more than lightly that you just have quite a hairless body and of course, not all women have big boobs, that's why padded bras were invented!

If it bothers you if would maybe be worth your while making an appointment with your doctor just to be sure that everything is as it should be. You are supposed to visit your doctor when you are 17 if you haven't went through puberty, but I'm not sure if that is the case with you or not.

Re: late bloomer?

yes, I started menstrating when I was 12 and I started getting hair in the pubic area but it still hasn't finished coming in cause theres not the full region like most women have. and the boob thing all the women in my family have at least a B cup. its like I started going through puberty and stopped before it finished. I keep meaning to mention it to my doctor but I keep forgetting. I just figured maybe it would all come in later on.

Re: late bloomer?

I wouldn't worry about it, no hair in those places is a bleesing. Both my sister-in-laws are A's and they are 24. Some women are just smaller. Water Bras work great and you can get silcon things to put in your bras, I have seen them at victoria's secret.

I have a friend that has little hair like that and it is normal. She's just lucky.

Re: late bloomer?

if you are that concerned about it have your doc take a look and get your hormone levels checked

Re: late bloomer?

I wouldn't worry about it, because as long as you're menstruating I'd assume you're within acceptable hormone ranges. But if you're still concerned you could always have your hormones checked. I'd assume you'd have low levels of male hormones, but normal levels of female hormones.

Good luck!
