Question about feminine wash???

Hi to all!

I'm just thinking to use a feminine wash with Tea tree oil, Is it safe to use? Tea tree oil has anti-bacterial properties and I'm wondering if it is a good feminine wash or not. Also, I wash vinegar with water down there. Is it safe to use vinegar everyday? How many times should I wash with vinegar?

Thank youin advance for all of your reply.

Re: about feminine wash???

You really shouldn't use douches very much as they will cause the vagina's natural bacteria to go haywire. Why would you want to douch everyday? It really isn't good for you to do. I understand your wanting to maybe get rid of some spermaside left over, but the vagina is very good at cleaning itself. Just keep the outside clean and it will take care of the rest.

Re: about feminine wash???

Ditto on MommaBee's comments. A healthy vagina cleans itself. There is no need to do anything to keep it clean. If you are having odor and unusual discharge then see a DR. If not, then just keep the external area clean with water.

Re: about feminine wash???

Another ditto on me too. Do not use any washes. You do not want to lose what you have in the vagina. Just wash the external area.

Re: about feminine wash???

Also, never use your soap on your vagina, not even on the outside. Just wash with plain water.

Re: about feminine wash???

What makes you guys think she was referring to douching?

And stars of glass, i have to disagree, I don't think there is anything wrong with washing yourself with soap, at least the external part - although some people might be more senstitive to soap. In my opinion, water doesn't cut it...You wouldn't just wash your armpits or your butt crack with water would you? LOL.

Like my first gyno said "It's a true cat-it cleans itself"

You can certanly clean the outside with mild soap, but that's all you need. I just soap up everything when I am in the shower.

Re: about feminine wash???

I appreciate so much all of your reply. Thanks to all!!
Anyways, I don't douche. I just wash the external part with vinegar. How many times should I wash with vinegar? Is it daily?, weekly?, monthly?

Thank you all for all of your reply!

Re: about feminine wash???

Why use vinegar at all? It is just not a neccessary thing to use IMO.

Re: about feminine wash???

Be careful with Tea Tree Oil. It's strong and can cause burning.
