Hi everyone,

I have read that it might be a good idea to sleep with a bra on. Can this be true? And if it is then any suggestions on what kind to wear? Thanks.

I guess if you wanted to sleep in a bra, one of those super soft-cup sport bras wouldn't be too uncomfortable. Never heard of sleeping in a bra being a good or bad idea. Seems like it would be more a matter of preference.

I can barely stand to wear one during the day much less try to sleep in one. LOL

I read that sleeping in a bra can keep your breast tissue from stretching and sagging because it is properly supported all the time. It makes sense to me--unfortunately I did not find that out until I was 29 and gravity had already begun to take it's toll. Then I had two children and nursed them and everything got blown all to heck anyway. Maybe if you start out from the beginning doing it, it might help. Myself, I wear an underwire bra 24 hours a day--except while bathing.

I would research this topic more before you come to any conclusions. I've personally heard that wearing bras 24/7 can possibly lead to cancer because it confines the tissue so much. If you do decide to start sleeping in a bra, I would just make sure that it is one that fits to perfection.
