Question Stretch Marks From Birth Control

Hello, I am 20 years old and started taking Birth Control last year to help control my anemia. I was put in the hospital because I was passing out and only had 40% of my bodies blood volume. I am not over weight and at the time was considered to be slightly under weight. After a couple of months on Nordette (which my GYNO told me was a low dose BC) I began to gain weight. I gained about 15 pounds, this caused stretch marks on my thighs and breasts. Since then I have lost most of the weight, but the marks are still there. I really want to find something that will help them go away. Please help with any suggestions.....

Re: Stretch Marks From Birth Control

there isn't a way to completely get rid of stretch marks other than plastic surgery. the leg press i've heard can reduce the size or them or make them not look as bad but they'll still be there.

Re: Stretch Marks From Birth Control

I don't know anything to help eliminate them, but I do know that by rubbing cocoa butter cream on your skin it helps to prevent them from forming.

I was told to put cocoa butter cream on my stomach while pregnant to prevent stretch marks. I did this faithfully every day and had not one stretch mark on my stomach. I just wish someone said to put it on my breasts too because they got the stretch marks and they didn't even get that big!

If you don't want your stretch marks to be that noticable try not to get too tan. They don't tan well, making them more noticeable against the darker skin.
