post-unprotected sex.... what is it like "down there"? - Women's Health Message Board

last night, i had unprotected sex. not for the entire excursion, but for long enough... he had orgasmed twice, once with a condom once not during vaginal intercourse. but between and after these times we did not use a condom. i know, stupid me. especially because i'm pretty sure i'm ovulating. but i am planning on getting EC, so i am not terribly worried at this point.

my question is, what are secretions like the morning after unprotected sex? there was a good amount of clear-ish, stringy discharge when i first went to the bathroom, and by the end of today it has worn down to practically nothing. i am sexually experienced, but i guess i just want some opinions of what this discharge could signify- could it be leftover natural lubrication from the night before (that could happen with or without a condom)? could it be semen? could it be my "ovulation discharge?" i know it could be any and all of these things, but for anyone who has been pregnant/had unprotected sex (with or without ejaculation being inside), i'd appreciate some input as to what this particular secretion indicates. thanks!!

If he ejaculated inside you then you're probably gonna get pregnant even if you "plan" to get EC. Not really sure by your description what actually happened, that might be why no-one is posting. But if you had unprotected sex after he ejaculated once, there will still have been semen on his penis. The secretions are probably either semen if he did ejaculate inside you, and female lubrication which can differ in amount each time you have sex.

well he didn't ejaculate inside me ever, so that's why i know the discharge wasn't semen. i didn't know, however, how one's body reacts when becoming initially pregnant, because i'm pretty sure there aren't supposed to be any signs for about a week or two, but maybe all that i have heard regarding this fact is incorrect.

You dont show or feel signs of pregnacy til about the time you have missed 1 period. You definately wont show any signs right after unprotected sex. The secretions you are talking about is probably just discharge......if you say he didnt ejaculate inside you. If it is clear and stringy then that usually meand you are at the time of ovulation..............which if you are ovulating then your chances of becomming pregnant are greater.
