I have been reading a lot of posts where people say their ovaries hurt. I have been having pain in my lower right abdomen recently, sometimes it radiates to my back and thigh. I'm heading to the doctor next week, but I was wondering exactly how you can tell if your ovaries hurt. Where exactly would the pain be? How low down are they located? I have also been spotting in between periods, and because I'm on the pill, I've attributed that to stress, but recently I've been starting to wonder if it's not something more.
endometriosis? cyst? have you read up on either on the web? check into both to see if the symptoms match. thing is....that kind of pain could literally be a bunch of things. it's so hard to tell! glad you made a doctors appt. no point in wondering...you're better off finding out so you don't have to worry.
She can't tell if it is the ovaries or not because she's not sure where the ovaries are located... or what ovary pain feels like... and is wondering how can you tell if it is ovary pain...
Sorry dixiechick, but I'm not sure myself Ask your doctor about endometriosis... or even just ask him about changing your bc pill ( if you're on one - they can cause those symptoms ). Stress can too, amazing what stress can do to a body.
I was actually going to talk to my doctor about getting off the pill altogether. Also, I have been extremely stressed and I guess I never thought that stress could be causing all of this. Thanks for the input. Everything should be calming down for me stress-wise, so hopefully everything else will level off too! I'll talk to my doctor and see what she says.
