Hi, I am new here...I just wanted to see what your thoughts were on what I have going on. I am trying to get an appt. with my doctor.
Last night i had what I thought were severe menstrual cramps..came on all of a sudden..hurt bad all in my lower pelvis. I have had these before..Normally i have a month where i don't have cramps and my period is normal flow and 7-10 days long..Then i have those months where i get bad menstrual cramps. But it tends not to last too long. Maybe a day and ibuprofen tends to help. That usually means my period will be very very heavy. I have had cysts on ultrasounds before..So maybe i am having a cyst rupture..i don't know.
Anyhow I woke up today with the cramping..and now it is in my right side across from my belly button. I have had my gall bladder out so it can't be that. I have no fever...I have been nauseous since last night..
I don't know if i am having an appendix problem...Does anyone know if it can start out as menstrual cramping? Or is this just where I am getting pain from a ruptured cyst. I am due for ibuprofen now and my lower abdominal cramping hasn't come back yet..
Like i said, I am trying to get into my doc..just wanted to see what you guys think???
Hi,
It could me a cyst like djl said or possible Endo. So many female probs have the pain you explained. I'm sorry your having pain. Hopefully your doctor will get to the bottom of it soon. If you really think it could be an appendix problem, you should go to the ER. An erupted appendix is serious.
Thanks so much for your help..You know what it turned out to be...a bladder infection...Though i am not sold on it. my bladder isn't in my upper right quadrant.. I haven't had any symptoms..But my urine showed high blood count..and i was put on doxy. And i am feeling better. I have been excercising and have kids so i don't drink a lot of water..i tend to forget..so i don't go very often..I gotta drink more...who knows..anyhow thanks guys.
