Feels like papercuts?? - Women's Health Message Board

Hello,

I am 22 years old and have experienced a few odd things lately. i have had some itching and discomfort before and after my period...or when i have intercourse with a spermicide lubricated condom. But sometimes, it feels like there are hundreds of microscopic papercuts down there sort of like little stinging splits. i can't see anything visibly wrong when it feels that way, is this a yeast infection? it isn't inside my vagina it's more around the outside. it is super sensitive. i have never tried to use an over the counter cream because im not sure what to buy, and i have no medical coverage right now so its tough to find a solution.

Also, i have tried so many different cleansers for sensitive skin, and i don't really notice a change. i have discharge every day and it doesn't have much of an odor, its just very inconvienent. Any suggestions on what kind of cleanser i can use?

try and use some cream called canesten it helps loads and nif that doesnt work i suggest you go to your gp

Hmmm I suggest you see your GP as you may hae TRICHAMOSIS which is a microscopic parasite....you and your partner need to be treated if this is what it is...it is easy to treat but the medication requires a prescription (script).

Alternatively you could be allergic to spermicides/latex condoms or could be overcleansing.

It doesn't need to be cleaned or douched it cleans itself. I f you clean the inside it could lead to thrush and other problems.

Please see your GP to put your mind at rest.....it's embarrasing I know but they see these types of things everyday!.
