Pregnant or Not? Can i have your advice? - Women's Health Message Board

I am on OTC LO
My last period was June 1st-4th.
I started a new pill pack on June 4th
I had sex on 5th, 11th (didnt ejaculate), 15th

I was on antibiotics for a UTI (Cipro) but i honestly think i didnt have a UTI because i had no burning just urgency. The doc couldn't test my urine. (too hard to explain why)

Anyways..I usually start my period on Wed OR Thurs (more likely Wed) of my placebo pills.

The PROBLEM is ..all through this pack of pills this month ..ive been spotting off and on...Currently for the last 3 or 4 days..ive reallyyy been spotting. Today i had period cramping..but can't really tell if the blood i see is from the spotting...or my period possibly starting! AND my temp has been high for a while now..during the day..in the 99's...when i wake up i move around some and then i remember oh crap i forgot to take my BBT..the lowest its been has been 98.0..not in the 97s!! but ofcourse i do accidently move around some before i remember i wanted to take it! so THAT worries me about pregnancy..

Right now it's wednesday ..so im hoping and expecting my period any minute ..even though i had cramping earlier..not much blood yet...but usually the first day is like that ..then i wake up the next day..and theres a gush..
I jus hope and pray that gush is there tomorrow morning..but if not...
what does this sound like!?
No PG signs yet..except maybe this high temp??

Please any advice?!!!

I think sounds more like you cycle is a bit off. The fever worries me a bit. You may have an infection. I would definitaly see a doctor again. It doesn't sound like you are pg though. Keep us posted.

Ive been on the pill almost a year now, so what do you mean?
I dont know if i have a fever or not..that could just be my normal temp. i feel fine. What kind of infection? I mean if i see a doc again..i wouldn't know what to say, i dont feel sick?!
The only time my temp is in the 98s is when im resting, or laying in bed trying to go to sleep. That makes sense i suppose. Its only in the 99s when im alert and active. Maybe thats my normal temp!? i am not totally sure. but if i was starting my period soon i would think my temp would be lower..or in the 97s while im resting..etc!!

Im scared! I hope i am not pg but thats the only thing i can think right now!!

Can my period be throw off from the Cipro?

First, Take a Deep Breath. As you grow older your body changes and your period can change to (even if you are on BC).

Well the only thing I know to cause a fever would be an infection. Could be a UTI or something like that.

Don't get yourself too worked up. When you see the doctor just tell them how you are feeling and your concerns. The best thing to do though it is to stop stressing, that will only make it worse. You need to get more info from your doctor on pregnancy and symptoms of. But just be honest. That is what they are there for. Good Luck. I know you are scared but you will get through it. How old are you...if you don't mind me asking?

Well to be honest....I am an 18 year old who has done much research on pregnancy and pg signs in general. Also things to do with periods. I currently take a pregnancy, libido, birth control, menstrual cycle etc class to learn more, But it never hurts asking if im not sure.

If i had a UTI wouldn't it be gone..because i just finished my antibiotic for it?
So that is odd.

I have a gyno appt on July 24th to get a new year supply of pills. So i will be asking a lot of questions.

I wouldn't be so worried about pregnancy, if my temp wasn't like this. From what i explained about the temp, does that sound like anything to do with pg? I know about BBTs..but i have lacked charting mine this month.
