Nothing will go wrong with the anesthesia.. the odds are in your favor.

I had a d&c yrs ago and it wasnt fun. I had a son premature and bled out.. incomplete placenta remained in the uterus. Anyway, I was under a general and woke up to mild cramps.. then when the anesthesia wore off they were pretty dang strong and I bled quite a bit.The cramps lasted several days and my doc gave me vicodin after I yelled at him about him not having a uterus so what the "bleep" would HE know.

Anyway, Its not fun for a few days but then after the bleeding stops youre fine.

As for getting up and moving around I was told to lay down and stay down.. to control the bleeding. Maybe its different now or you have a different issue than I did.
All in all its not so bad.
Im goign to go beg for an ablation but Im scared of it so Im in your boat too... the unknown is scary! We all can get through scary stuff if we discuss it and have a good support system and TRUTHFUL answers to our questions!
