hi everyone,
you may have read some of my recent posts concerning my friend and this weird "pregnancy" thing thats going on with her. She constantly calls me wanting my help and advice with all of this.
Well, last night she called me saying she had been to the emergency department of the hospital again and they had given her an internal exam and told her that her uterus was clear from this miscarriage so she would not need a D&C, but she was apparently also told that she would have to come back the following week for another pregnancy test, as her uterus was still swollen and her cervix was closed, so they think she may still be pregnant. Even though she has miscarried, her boyfriend is one of triplets so they think she could have another one or two babies still inside her.
Does this make sense to anyone? is it possible? i just thought if you were miscarrying your cervix would be open not closed. i have heard of people losing one twin at a later stage with a multiple pregnancy, but i thought at an earlier stage you would lose the whole pregnancy?
it might sound like this is none of my business but i am concerned about her, both physically and mentally, as i think there is some problems there, and the fact she keeps asking for my help makes it difficult. i want to help her but am very confused with all of this
