Im 25 and for the past week I have been having sensations in my tummy (like pressure or tingling), but no pain or anything. I thought mabey I was just having stomach probs, but then today I end up getting my period. This is weird because I just had my peiord just over 2 weeks ago. Also about a week ago I was having brown discharge for 2 days(not much, just enough to notice). Also when I have my period I never get cramps..that is until.today I am having VERY painful cramps!! (Now I know what everyone is talking about when they say their cramps are so painful

) ALso (this might be too much info but) I am having a very very heavy flow and considering this is my first day. I hope that nothing is going on here? Does anyone know what might be goin on with me?

sounds to me like you need to see your dr, there are many things that can cause this sometimes it is unexplained but dr usually say if you have bad cramps to go see a dr, considering you have never had period pain before, i would think this means there is something causing it not just period. hope you find the answers your looking for and hope there not bad good luck

I called a Dr. office here and they told me that I would need an utrasound sonar or something like that and that I would need to have a full bladder to do that??(they spoke bad english & Im in a foreign country

) Can they do this procedure even when Im bleeding pretty heavily?

yes they can it is messy if you have to have an internal ultrasound but dont stress thousands of women do it every day, a wise woman once told me to leave your pride at the door and pick it up on the way out, i hope all is ok

A full bladder is needed because it is in front of the uterus and when full it acts as a 'window' to be able to see the uterus. The normal procedure is two hours before the ultrasound, urinate. Then an hour before the ultrasound drink 32 oz of water and don't urinate until the procedure is over. I have had numerous ultrasounds and am going to have another one in a few weeks.
