VERY DRYYYY downstairs

Extremely dry and itchy downstairs. No discharge no odor just dry & itchy. I itch till I bleed, even around the behind. Sorry but we are all ladies. Tried Monastat and didn't help at all. What ya think?

Re: VERY DRYYYY downstairs

Have you tried Vagisal cream?? For me, I seem to get itchy right before my period, and use some of this cream, and it really helps. Good luck, cause that kind of itching sure is miserable.

Re: VERY DRYYYY downstairs

I have tried vagisil and it works temporarily. I am 51 and had a hysterectomy 12 years ago so I really ddon't know what the problem is. Seems to bother me most in the cold months. Thanks for the response. Dyana

Re: VERY DRYYYY downstairs

See your ob/gyn or family practice doc--dryness is one of the signs of the vaginal walls becoming thinner with the onset of menopause. An estrogen cream suppository works really well and can be used a few times a week. I just went through this and was confused by the fact that I was ovulating still, but also menopausal. Isn't being a woman GREAT??

Re: VERY DRYYYY downstairs

NO it is not great!! I feel like I have diaper rash. I itch so bad I draw blood and make scabs. I have tried Boric acid and peroxide and wow does that burn. I have been celibate for 14 years so it is not an STD. Not yeast so what the heck?? It sound terrible but I can't go to a DR. for lack of money or insurance. I am paying off a $7,000.00 bill cuz BC dropped me saying my back conditions are pre-existing (long Story) so no money. Thanks for responding. any other suggestions?
