Hi

I started bleeding while having sex with my boyfriend. I went to the doctor and smear test were fine. I also had STI tests..all good but failed an initial HIV test which was so scary. Had another blood test and came up negative so all good. Went off the pill and stopped bleeding during intercourse but have now a week and a half overdue for my period. I have taken a preganancy test but it was negative. i am so worried that thi is still somehow related to HIV test being wrong or something..what is wrong with me...help!

I think that going off the pill can make your period irregular for awhile. I wouldn't think that it would have anything to do with HIV, especially since your second test was negative. I would test again in 3 months just to be sure though!

If I were you...........

I would take the test again.

if you were pregnant...most likely it will show on the blood or urine test, right??

Keep re-testing.
