I have been on flagyl for a week for BV....After taking this for a week I am still having symptoms so I called my DR. and she called me in diflucan(I told her it felt like a yeast infection more than BV).My question is can I take the diflucan while on Flagyl. I am on the last of my flagyl.
I would wait until the last Flagyl is done with, And Flagyl can give you a yeast infection.....did ya know that? Why dont these doctors tell US that???!!! Good luck!

no- yogurt will not work for BV- truthfully-it doesn't really cure YIs either- it's good for preventing but once you havea YI- you need a cure. Flagyl will give you a nasty YI. I have a question though- I have a YI right now- I took diflucan 3 days ago and although I definitely got relief- I still "notice" the YI- how long does diflucan take to cure complete? shoudl I get a back up 1 day cream maybe? I don't like those 1 days- they burn like crazy!!!
