sterilisation?
im 26 i want to be sterilised and i dont want any "are you sure you really want to??"answers! im in the uk and want to go private im definately not going nhs!anyway, i dont want a general anaesthetic and besides a local is cheaper! but by local do they actually mean local or do they mean epidural?im getting a referal from my doc next week but i dont want to wait that long before i know because i want to plan what hospital i want to go to.does anyone know?

they mean an epidural. i had it done when i was 25. no big deal. God bless

When I had mine done I was 24. Had just given birth to my third child one month before. That was 28 1/2 years ago. I have never regretted it. Piece of cake surgery. No unnecessary BS going in your body. Goodluck.

i am scared of the thought of having an epidural though im also petrified of general anaesthetic! did you have an epidural? i heard it hurts like hell and you need to have a bladder catheter???
