Uterine Fibroid

Hello, my doctor said that I have to get this removed...very similar to a c-section sugery. Does anyone know of any other ways to remove a uterine fibroid the size of a large orange?

Re: Uterine Fibroid

Yes, there is a procedure called Uterine Arterial Embolisation (UAE). There is a thread about it on the Hysteretomy board.

I had very good results.

Re: Uterine Fibroid

Surgery can always be risky.
Try a supplement that shrinks the fibroid, but do your research on it. Sometimes doctors go into to surgery to remove one thing, and end up removing a number of other things, things you cannot get back.

Fibroids affect 40% of the female population.
You would think health care professionals would have more options for us, other than surgery.
My understanding is that fibroids are a result of an over abundance of estrogen.

This is from a site<<NEPRINOL® AFD (Advanced Fibrin Defense)*

Fibrin is a particular substance naturally formed in the human body that plays a significant role in our health and general well being. Fibrin is documented to be responsible for scar tissue, thrombus formation and inflammation with its associated pain. Neprinol®-AFD by Arthur Andrew Medical contains a blend of systemic enzymes that specifically address fibrin levels in the body. Natural removal of fibrin by the body is accomplished by enzymes (principally plasmin) whose role is to attack excess fibrin buildup. Neprinol®-AFD provides superior fibrin-active enzymes in a combination designed to address fibrin buildup and much more.<<
