I had fibroids before I had a hysterectomy. Fibroids are fed by Estrogen, so my GYN told me. As you get older and produce less estrogen, the fibroids shrink. My problem was that they grew outside of the uterus, which can be a problem, and they were in my case. So, I don't know that you can get anythng herbal to shrink the fibroids. I know that these days they can just take out the fibroids and I believe the physician can also give you a drug ( GnRH Agonists ) but these do have side effects. Fibroids account for about 2 out of every 3 hysterectomies done in the United States. I would stay in touch with a physician on these fibroids and not play around with herbs, since the fibroids can cause problems when they grow large, etc.
