I am 23, and had SUPER regular periods up until about 8 months ago.
Since then, I have only had about 2 "real" ones, and a few where I just spot a little bit for a few days.
I have been to the OBGYN and had all kinds of blood tests and a pelvic ultrasound. Everything came back normal, they said I do not have PCOS or anything wrong they can see.
My husband and I are going to staring trying to concieve later this year. I am very worried as I have not been ovulating or having periods.
All the docs said was that if I want to get pregnant I may need to go on a med to stimulate ovulation. What the heck?!?! Why cant they tell me why after 22 years of extremely regular, normal, periods I no longer have them?
I have gained about 30 pounds in the past 2 years (marriage complacency lol
) but my periods only stopped in the past year.
Does anyone have any insight or advice? I would really, really appreciate it. I just....feel like a part of me me is missing by not ovulating, and my biggest fear is not being able to concieve.
