Is it BV or not?

I have an ongoing vaginal problem which can only be described as vaginitis, but no matter how many times I go to the doctor my test results always come back clean. Meanwhile I experience vaginal itching a thick pasty discharge, pelvic pain and occasionally during times of high stress I experience a fishy odor. It looks like, sounds like and smells like BV/ Yeast or something but my test results don't prove anything to diagnose it. My husband is afraid to have sex with me because after intercourse he begins to experience a fishy odor, a clammy unclean feeling of his genitals and a uncomforatble discharge, which is cured with antibiotic treatment. Still can't find a treatment for me. Previous doctors have treated me with antibiotics, Flagyl, treated for yeast but the symptoms remain. My doctor has pretty much told me that my only long term solution is to just use non latex rubbers during sex, however that only addresses my husbands symptoms and in no way addresses mine. I'm a clean person, wipe front to back, don't douche, take usually two baths a day, have only had one sexual partner for over 10 years. What is this... Is it a life sentence of uncomfortable vaginal irritations and brick wall between me my sexual life... and I'm only 30?
