Has anyone experienced slight tenderness in the groin area as well as side of breast just before period.

Yep use to get it all the time when I first started my period in my younger days. Faithfully every month I'd get it. As I got older I either grew out of it or the new BCP took it away.

is it the lymph nodes do you know?

In my case it wasn't.

The lymph nodes in my back swell up. They are about even with the lymph nodes in the front.
