Your situation sounds similiar to mine. I had a c-section almost 3 years ago and my tubes tied during that time. I had regular periods, the only difference is that my period doesn't end until 10 days later. Normally it would end a 7 days, but now I spot 3 days after and sometimes it is very dark as well. I have told my GYN about this a few times and she thought it was an infection due to me having a uterine fibriod and also during my exams, it is always tender when she exams me..but after several tries with presription drugs, she is now suggesting that I get a D&C to scrap maybe left over something from the pregnancy. I don't know! I'm waiting for them to schedule the D&C. Ofcourse I am worried, but I often wonder if having my tubes tied could be causing this extra spotting, but then again I read that fibriods can cause heaving and prolong bleeding as well.
