I dont think that type of fungus can grow inside the vagina. That type of fungus typically cannot grow on a mans scrotum or penis because of the type of tissue cells in that area. The type of tissue in your vagina is lined with Epithelial cells which line it and that type of fungus cannot grow on that particular type of epithelial. I think what you are dealing with is a different strain of Candida other than Albicans. What has helped me immensely is living a much healthier lifestyle and stopping all treatments for yeast. I did the boric acid suppositories once or twice a week for 2 months, took probiotics, and cut back on carbs and sugars. I have not done boric acid for a while now and still take the probiotics and eat healthfully. I am doing much better. I am not completely normal, I still have a little burning now and then, but so much better.. You really just have to take control of your life. Stop these treatments the doctors give you. They do not help once it goes to far. Your body eventually has to beat this itself and it cannot do that when you are constantly bombarding your vagina with all these harsh treatments.. You have to provide your body with the proper tools it needs to heal. Eat live, organic foods, drink plenty of water, cut back on carbs, take vitamins, take probiotics, get plenty of sleep, cut back on stress, exercise.. I hope this helps, good luck to you and please let us know how you are doing.
