I have a smell "down there"

The only fish I eat is either from Captain D's, Long John Silvers or McDonalds. My question is this...everytime I eat fish, I get a smell "down there" for a few days. What causes this? Is it normal? How do I keep it from happening other than to stop eating fish at those places? Thanks!

What's been posted here before? Yes, it's only when I eat fish. It leaves a fishy smell.

I have a strange question that involves seafood and my vagina.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is sooo odd and embarrassing but I just have to ask.....
For the past few months every time I eat seafood the following day I'll have a rather strong and disturbing fish smell that emits from my vagina. What could be the problem??
I know that seems kind of like a joke, but it isn't. I love seafood and I'd hate to give it up. Is this something that I should be concerned about? And that could be treated without giving up on fish?Yes, that was the post about a week ago, Its like 3 pages back.I guess it is common for some woman. Good luck!!!

Re: I have a smell "down there"

You can actually have a stronger odor from the foods you eat! I have never heard of smelling like fish after eating fish................but i suppose that can happen. I have heard to eat fruit.............pineapple and citrus type fruits and that actually helps with odor. Have you ever heard the term "vegetarian's taste better" Meat has alot to do with odor down below. Are you sure that you dont have BV? Have you been checked for any infections? I know you think it is the fish you are eating................but BV is a very smelly fish smell that you can keep getting over and over unless treated. You cant get any med's over the counter for BV. Really...........there should NEVER be a foul/fishy odor from the vagina. Also........an important question.....do you douche? That can actually cause vaginal infections and BV................due to the interuption to the PH balance in our bodies.
