You get pregnant when you ovulate...usually about fourteen days after the first day of your last period. So for example, if you begin your period on October 1st, your fertile days would be somewhere around October 14th-October 18th. Of course, every woman is different.
Most likely you would not get pregnant while still menstuating, but it CAN happen, so if you don't want to become pregnant, use birth control.
acctually i am on birth control...ok i am a sunday starter, i forgot to take sundays pill and it was a new pack(i had just got off my period)me and my husband had sex monday morning which made me remember to take my pill. so i took sundays pill right away, and i took mondays pill at normal time(5pm). i won't be upset if i get pregnant, but i have a 7 month old! i'm just scared what if i can't handle two babies? i'm just not ready yet. but if i'm pregnant i'll make the best of it. thanks alot for your input. what do you think now? about the whole pill situation...?i'm just confused!
I think you're probably fine because you did remember your pill from Sunday. Try to set a timer if you are prone to forgetting or maybe look into something more long-term. I got an IUD put in, because I have a two month old and do NOT want any more babies any time soon . Good luck to you! Laura
thanks so much for your input. it gives me a little shred of hope! i'm really not ready to get pregnant again. good luck with you two month old, its kinda tough at that age. wait till about 5 or 6 months...they're soooo much fun! is the IUD the 5 year thing? i have a friend whos had some trouble with it and said it hurt worse than childbirth! whats your input on it?
