?possibly pregnant? - Women's Health Message Board

I'm 19 yrs. old, and I've been married to my high school sweetheart and best friend for over 5 months. (together for 4 years prior)

So here is where the fun begins!

My period began on Oct. 23, it was very light and w/ little cramping. I have been experiencing spotting and majorly uncomfortable cramping for almost a week now. I have also experienced more frequent urination, as well as some bloating, and major breast sensitivity. I am a few days away from my expected period, and I am so nervous. My husband and I have had unprotected sex for almost 2 years now and we've already experienced a miscarriage, but this was a few years back. I was a lot younger then. I never had these crazy things happen, and I don't know what to think at this point. I feel that it may be too early for a hpt but then again I may be wrong. Any ideas? Anything would be of help, I am sure.

It could be you were already pregnant when your very light period happened. If you're pregnant and far enough to have symptoms, then there's a good chance the test will work. Still, as you know, yes means yes and no means maybe.

If I were you, I'd go ahead and take the test.

Thanks! I think I am going to go ahead and take it, I will let you know once I find out. Because honestly I think I am, no cramps and my period is due tomorrow, and I normally get them a day before my period. But like I said I will let you know... Thanks again!

Sounds like you may very well be pregnant.
