| Swollen ankles -- menstruation related?
Yesterday was the second day of this month's menstruation for me, and I noticed my ankles are swollen. Today it's still the same.
It's not painful at all, so it could be that they were swollen on the first day and/or before that also and that I just didn't notice.
I've searched online* a bit and I find sites that say some women get swollen ankles before their menstruation, but I didn't see anything about during the period.
It doesn't bother me that much, and I trust it will go away in a few days, but I'm wondering whether I'm doing something wrong that caused this. (Because I don't remember this happening in earlier months.) Could it be caused by wrong food or lack of exercise? (Both could be the case; I'm in the middle of a study period these weeks; very sedentary.)
Thanks for any information.
*I tried to use the verb derived from a popular search engine, and it gets replaced by ******. Why?
