Pelvic Exam and Pregnancy

I could use some advice from anyone knowledgable on the subject. I am a virgin. Last month I had a normal period and it ended roughly a week and a half ago. Between the final day of my period and now, my boyfriend has "fingered" me three or four times. He touched himself once, I believe, but he had not ejaculated at any time before he touched his penis, so the only fluids he would have come in contact with would be "pre-***." He only brushed the tip of his penis and rubbed the shaft a bit. Yesterday I went to the OBGYN and had a routine pelvic exam. Everything came back normal and the pregnancy tests they give was obviously negative.

However, I have been feeling poorly for the past couple of days - headache, sore throat, crampy feeling in my lower abdomen and ovaries (only happened after the pelvic exam). My question is (1) could I be pregnant from the encounter described above and only be getting a negative test result from the doctor because it is too early to detect and (2) could the feeling poorly be associated with a pregnancy or is it much too early for that?

I am almost 100% certain there is no way I could be pregnant, but I had a bit of a scare a few months back and ever since then have been almost paranoid when something changes with my body. I just want to be reassured that everything sounds normal. If someone could advise me, I would appreciate it so much!

Re: Pelvic Exam and Pregnancy

If your doctor said you are not pregnant and considering what you say I would think that is a big NO.........YOU are NOT pregnant. But keep playing with fire without proper protection and you will be.

Re: Pelvic Exam and Pregnancy

Ok, thanks for the reply! That makes me feel better. I just wanted another opinion. I was simply confused because at the time I had the pelvic exam yesterday it had only been a week or less since the "fingering" I was concerned about, but if anyone is going to know whether or not you are pregnant (even that early on) it would be your OBGYN, I suppose.

Thanks again, lala-whatsnext. More replies, for peace of mind sake, are always welcome!
